The colors in this painting are unique from all my other paintings, to date. I was attempting to copy the colors of another painting of mine that I really liked, but the result was completely different and unusual.
This was one of the first paintings that had spirals “show up” in the design. I didn’t deliberately decide to include spirals. They just happened. Since then, I have learned about “spiraling energy” in the body and “spiraling patterns” in nature, such as in seashells, pinecones and even pineapples.
Perhaps more spirals will show up in my designs, but for now, just a few, select pieces include them.
