I am still experimenting with style but also finding my groove and gaining confidence in my painting.
I love the way this piece turned out because the delicious colors remind me of a cartoon fairy tale. At this point, I was beginning to love letting paint drops sit in puddles and travel as they chose. The results seemed to produce pleasing works of fantasy.
I can see the phantom in this piece. He has shown up in one or two other paintings, as well. The fairies? Well, they are everywhere, aren’t they?
